Meet Tameka

Tameka Douglas earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Saint Augustine’s University. She continued to matriculate through the halls of academia obtaining a Master’s Degree in Human Services Counseling and Executive Leadership from Liberty University. Tameka graduated Cum Laude from the Greater North Carolina Church of God in Christ Jurisdictional Academy in July 2007, became licensed as an Evangelist in 2009 and was elevated to the office of a National Evangelist in 2019.
Tameka has a long-standing career as a Social Worker, and she is employed with Wake County Government. In 2019 she was recipient of the 20 Under 40 COGIC Achievers Award as well as The President’s Volunteer Service Award (President Donald Trump). Coupled with her outreach initiatives and community involvement, the relevant and timely message that God has given her has been embraced by both the older and younger generations, thus having afforded her the opportunity to minister at various churches, schools, in the prison system, and on youth forums.
Tameka takes great pride in serving in a variety capacities in her local church, which includes the Evangelism department, Hospitality Committee, and for over fifteen years she served as the Coordinator for the Ladies of the Kings Court, a ministry designed for young ladies between the ages of 13-18, teaching them to be young women of excellence. In addition, she serves North Carolina Third Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction as the Elect Lady of Evangelism, and she is the former Coordinator for Young Women of Excellence. Tameka is a contributing author for the International Church of God in Christ Young Women of Excellence Curriculum Guide, a compilation produced for the National YWE female mentoring program that targets to assist young ladies in identifying, cultivating, and exercising their divine calling. Through her willingness to evangelize, experience in human services, and willingness to partner with the community, in 2005 she founded CHARM, a community organization for girls dedicated to providing self-esteem enhancing programs that uplift, educate, and motivate. In addition, she has developed curriculum guides as well as conducted workshops in the areas of Human Trafficking, Cyberbullying, Social Media Savvy and Etiquette.
